Tom Bell

William Thomas "Tom" Bell, 103, went to live in Heaven, September 12, 2022. Tom passed away peacefully with his family present. He was born on August 19, 1919, in Diboll, TX, to Homer and Mary Bell. He was proceeded in death 5 years ago by the love of his life his spouse Geraldine "Jerry" Bell and they celebrated 72 years together. He is survived by his daughters Tula Ann Bell and Nancy Bell Ulman; his granddaughters, Andrea Ulman Tapp and husband Kenny, and Meredith Ulman Robinson and husband Jackie; 6 great grandchildren Abigail, Evan, Elizabeth, Kenleigh, Lillian Tapp, and Zion Robinson; as well as many friends. The majority of the family had the opportunity to spend this last Father’s Day, which Tom thoroughly enjoyed.

Tom and Jerry were longtime members of First Baptist Church of Albuquerque. Tom loved to read his Bible daily

Tom was a successful business owner, an amazing golfer, with several holes in one.  Tom served our country in the United States Navy as a pilot, arriving in Hawaii two weeks after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He stayed there and served also in Naval Intelligence.  He was an avid Lobo men’s basketball fan and had season tickets for many years at The Pit.

At his request, services will be private, and interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, where he will join his sweetheart, Jerry.

He will be greatly missed but he is in Heaven now.
