Our beloved father, Tito Aguilar of Albuquerque, NM has gone home to meet our Lord and Savior at the age of 92. Tito passed on Monday, March 28, 2022, at home surrounded by his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cipriano and Teresa Aguilar; wife, Carolina Aguilar; daughter, Nelly Mae Aguilar, and several siblings, family members and friends.
Tito was born on August 15, 1929, in Chapelle, NM at his family ranch. He married Carolina "Carol" Chavez on January 10, 1948, and together they raised 4 children.
Tito went to work for the AT&SF Railroad in 1947 and was a proud railroader for 47 years until his retirement.
He was a man of faith, family and dedication. He played an active role in raising 5 generations of his family. He was the Aguilar family patriarch and was respected and loved by many!
Tito is survived by his children: Annabelle and husband David Salazar, Diana and husband Nelson Lopez, Philip Aguilar and Cenen Romero and Peggy Candelaria; his grandchildren, Joaquin Salazar, Arcelia Salazar, Naomi Lopez, Rebeccah Tost, Gabriel Aguilar, Amanda Aguilar, Analise Candelaria, Alexis Candelaria, and several great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Stella Gonzales, Margie Meastas, Ernie McKennie, Leroy Aguilar and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside, with the Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE in Albuquerque, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife.
