Timothy James Sipp

November 26, 1973 — April 10, 2024

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Timothy James Sipp was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Tim was born on November 26, 1973 in Akron, Ohio to parents, David and Lisa Deadmore Sipp, of Winchester, Virginia. He was hit by a car in Albuquerque on April 10, 2024 and died on the scene.

Timothy was a true renaissance man. His gentle soul, keen mind and love of discovery found expression through art, poetry, science and religion. As a young teen he worked at Georgia Tech in aeroacoustics and at 17 held two patents with NASA. Further exploration led him to pioneer acoustic theory and the generation of renewable energy.

He applied his mind to many disciplines and graduated from the University of New Mexico with a master’s degree in public policy with a focus on health care.

He was fiercely loyal to his friends and especially to those overlooked. He carried a physically challenged roommate to class on many occasions. When this friend/roommate suddenly passed Tim arranged his memorial service and assisted the family. His great heart and hardy laughter live in those who knew him and in us who loved him.

Most importantly Tim gave his heart and mind to Jesus Christ and anchored his soul on the rock that does not change. Now he knows even as he is known and his questions are answered eternally.

In addition to his parents, surviving family include his brother, Jeremiah Sage Sipp (Megan Baerg) of Tampa, Florida, his sister Elizabeth Ann Beasley (Ben) of Potomac, Maryland, his great aunt Evelyn Hendrix of Savannah, Georgia, his great aunt Jerry Deadmore of Richmond, Virginia, his aunt Lyn Deadmore (Stan Taylor) of Atlanta, Georgia, his aunt Emily Peker of Port St, Joe, Florida, his uncle George Peker of Atlanta, his uncle, Ron Sipp (Susan) of Saline, Michigan, beloved nieces and nephews, Haley Robertson, Elisa Flores, Amaya Armstrong (Travon) and Alana Robertson, as well as Isaias Robertson and Princeton Beasley, a great nephew Ky’Dare Armstrong, and many cousins.

Tim will be interred at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, Virginia with his grandmother, Martha Ann Stegar who passed away April 1, 2024 and his grandfather Yalcin Peker who passed December 10, 2013.
