Tiffany Dawn Ortiz

Tiffany Dawn Ortiz, age 50, passed peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 23, 2018.

She is survived by her children, Chezerea R. Ortiz and partner, Aaron J. Romero, and Marcus L. Ortiz; mother, Janice E. Jeter; sister, Susan L. Hutson and husband, Joe; sisters and brother-in-law, AnnMarie Ortiz, JoyceAnn Boeck and husband, Dennis, Annette Ortiz, Fred Ortiz and wife, Penne; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; three special children whom she loved like her own, Danirose Sanchez, Shala Garcia-Pena, and Richard Juarez; life-long friend, Shawn Arquette and husband, Billy; and numerous other relatives and friends.  Tiffany was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Anthony Ortiz; father, Ronald Dean Jeter; and mother-in-law, Patricia Ann Ortiz.

Tiffany was born in 1967 in Castroville, Texas and graduated from El Dorado High School, class of 1985.  Tiffany met Mark in high school and they were married in 1990.  She worked in various occupations but one which was especially meaningful to her was assistant teacher for special education at McCollum Elementary School.  Tiffany loved her family more than anything in life.  She was an exceptionally strong, funny, beautiful, sweet person who formed bonds with people wherever she went.  No matter how challenging her circumstances were, Tiffany always found a way to laugh through it.  She was saved and began a relationship with Christ through North Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.  Should loved ones desire, memorial contributions may be made in Tiffany's name to North Church, 4700 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
