Thomas Dean Soapes

Thomas Dean Soapes, 90, passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Georgetown, Texas. He was born on March 22, 1926 in Glendive, Montana, to Thomas Harold Soapes and Rose Mae Soapes. He is survived by his children, Rose Paulette Eide and husband, Bill and Michael Dean Soapes and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Leslie Eide, Kristen Eide, Nicholas Soapes, Kathryn Trujillo, Michael Soapes and Erin Soapes; great-granddaughters, Riley, Paisley and Taylin; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Soapes; wife, Lesbia C. Soapes; son, Thomas H. Soapes and granddaughter, Natalie Soapes, precede him in death. Tom, Dean to family, trained as a Navy pilot in WWII, later joining the USAF during the Korean Conflict. He spent his career as a fighter pilot and nuclear engineer retiring in the early 1970's. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 31, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
