Thomas Charles Loveland

Thomas Charles Loveland passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his sons, Thomas Loveland II and David Loveland. His family includes daughters-in-law, Pamela Loveland and Juanita Loveland; grandchildren; Ryan Loveland, Kaeleigh Loveland, Victoria Loveland and Emily Aucoin. He leaves three great-grandchildren, Madison, Lily and Asher, as well as sister-in-law, Nancy Loveland and numerous nieces and nephews. He was born May 14, 1924 in Ft. Ringgold, Rio Grand City, TX. He was a decorated combat veteran during WWII serving in the 8th Air Force. He continued his career in the Air Force until retiring as Captain in 1962. Afterwards, he worked in the Albuquerque Public School system, until retiring as Director of Data Processing in 1986. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Virginia Loveland, his older brother Howard, his sister Isabelle Gambrell, and younger brother, Kenneth. A Christian Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 26, 2013, 12:00 noon at Heights Church of Christ, 7801 Zuni Rd. SE. His remains will be laid to rest in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
