Thomas Christopher Longoria (Tommy) of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, a loving son, brother, father and uncle passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2021.
Tommy was born on August 12, 1985 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He graduated from Manzano High School in 2003 and has been employed for 13 years at Jack's Mechanical Solutions in Albuquerque. He started out at the bottom and worked his way up to Area Manager for all the New Mexico work sites. Jack's is a family-owned business, and he was considered as one of the family. He made some amazing friendships, not only at Jack's, but with the many contractors and vendors he worked with.
He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Longoria; parents, Robert and Sharon Longoria; sister and brother-in-law, Megan and Phillip Lightle; sister and brother-in-law, Erin and Ayo Akinnikawe; nieces, Jordyn and Ryann Lightle, Ayanna and Aria Akinnikawe; and nephews, Case Lightle and Alexander Akinnikawe. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Odelia Longoria of Oxnard, CA and Howard and Hope Gage of Oxnard, CA
Tommy was an amazing father to his daughter, Olivia, who he cherished. Even when he worked in Phoenix, he drove back almost every weekend to see and spend as much quality time with her as he could. He was an amazing uncle and had a special bond with all his nieces and nephews. He was always excited to get new tattoos. Some were crazy but each tattoo had a special meaning to him and told his story. He was also into music. He enjoyed going to concerts and talking about music with anyone who was interested. He also enjoyed collecting records, and was beginning to have quite the collection. He loved playing golf and bowling and was a dedicated Washington Football Team fan. Although only 36 at the time of his death, Tommy affected many people in his lifetime and was taken from us far too early in his life. He will be remembered for his smile and his laughter that could fill a room. He will be missed by many people.
