Thomas T. Lauer

Thomas T. Lauer, age 88, CWO4 (Ret.), U.S. Army, passed away on September 11, 2013, after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vera Lauer and his brother, Don Lauer. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy. He is also survived by his two sons, Stephen and Jeffrey and their wives, Carolyn and Patricia. His grandsons include Christopher and Matthew and their wives Suzanne and Katie. He is also survived by his one nephew, Don Edward Lauer and his wife, Carolyn. Thomas was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1972. He and his family have made their home in Albuquerque since his retirement. During his military career, Thomas served at many duty stations here in the United States as well as overseas. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, September 16, 2013, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment with Military Honors will be rendered on Friday, September 20, 2013, 9:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
