Thomas Francis Jacobini

0n the morning of July 17, 2018, the man, the myth, the legend Thomas F. Jacobini, also known as Tom or Pops, 78, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, made his way to the big fishing hole in the sky. It’s Trout and Catfish forever. He was a loving father and, as many said, a “pistol”. Tom definitely did things his way. He is now with his loving wife, Cheryl Jacobini, who passed on March 29, 2017. Tom never recovered from the loss of Cheryl. His heart was shattered and, even though he fought a good fight against cancer, his body just didn’t have anything left to give.

Tom is survived by his son, Philipp Jacobini; his daughter, Danielle Walraven; his son-in-law, Kurt Walraven; his brother, Phil Jacobini; his cousin, Jacqueline Jacobini, and his former wife Caecila Jacobini.

He also leaves his best friend and fishing buddy Jason Ashby, and wife Valerie Ashby, and his wonderful neighbors, Janice and Greg Dudley.

Tom wouldn’t want his friends to grieve over him. He would want us to celebrate. So, in October, we will have a party in his honor, date and information to follow. Tom proudly served as a Sargent in the U.S. Army and will be buried with full Military Honors at Arlington Cemetery in Washington D.C. No date has been set.
