Thomas Clifford Horton Jr. (Tom, TC), the beloved father, brother, and friend died peacefully on February 8, 2015 in his apartment at The Village at Alameda in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 64. Thomas Clifford Horton Jr. was born on November 9, 1950 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Thomas Clifford Horton Sr. and Rita S. Horton. He earned an Electrical Engineering diploma and joined the family businesses of Entranosa Water Corp and Broken Arrow Ranch & Construction as a field manager. He spent his last days as an advocate and voice for stroke victims and survivors. As recent as February 5, 2015, he was in Santa Fe advocating for policy change concerning stroke victims. Thomas Clifford Horton Jr. is survived by his daughter, LeeAnn M. Horton and her two sons, Orlanden L. and Titus Dean; his son, Thomas Clifford Horton III and his wife, Jamie L. Horton, and their son Gabriel T.; his sister, Rita Loy Simmons and her children, Jim, Leslie, and Clair; his sister, Sharron Geilenfeldt and her husband Richard Geilenfeldt, and their children, Mike and Mary. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Clifford Horton Sr. and Rita S. Horton, and his daughter, Genevieve A. Horton. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at The Village at Alameda located at 8810 Horizon Boulevard, Albuquerque, NM, at the intersection of Alameda and next to the Balloon Fiesta Park, with a fellowship reception to follow. Burial will be at the Mountain Valley Cemetery in Barton. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tom's (TC) life.
