Thomas Crawley

June 22, 1969 — March 7, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Thomas V. Crawley passed suddenly on March 7, 2025. He was a beloved husband, son, stepfather, grandfather and a cherished friend to MANY. He was a treasured only son to his mother Ann. He was loved deeply by his wife Consuelo, his step children Ashley, Jaymee and Michael. He was adored by his grandson Silas and God daughter Lylah both whom enjoyed wrestling, and roughhousing with him.

Thomas was born in 1969 to Ann, he lived his youth in Albuquerque NM. Through this time, he went to Military school ranking commandant of cadets his Junior year. He played high school football, he enjoyed sports, skiing and jet skiing in the ocean. He found great pleasure in family vacations in which he elaborately planned for amazing adventures. He inherited a family through love, and that love he gave back freely. His greatest pleasure was spending "QT" (quality time) with his "peeps." Thomas loved and cherished every moment he had with his family. He always looked forward to his grandson's hockey games. Thomas also lived in Ohio for a brief period where he became a golf professional in the PGA. He enjoyed riding his Harley. He sustained a tragic motorcycle accident in 2017 and lived to ride again!! He then found joy in customizing his new bike. He was an avid Star Wars fan and embossed his Harley with storm troopers.

Thomas was an an exemplary and devoted man, he treasured family and friendships. He made family out of friendships! He gave freely to all. His most mentioned words were "what can I do for you?" His presence would light up a room, and his laughter was sooo contagious. He lived to bring joy and laughter! We called them Thomas euphemisms... He would do a silly dance and say "look what I can do" Referencing "Stuart" from Saturday Night Live. When he first met my daughter Jaymee; in all her youthful anger, he called a dance off with her AND WON!! He was determined and persistent and earned every ounce of the love that they shared.

Thomas was a very honorable man, his love was genuine and given so freely. He was highly valued in his community. He was extremely intelligent and accomplished an inordinate career in IT where he cultivated many friendships. He provided IT services within Rio Rancho Public schools and valued working with, and for the children. He also worked at Intel where he was an amazing ally and resource to his colleagues. He believed in doing good for others without ever expecting anything in return. He donated Christmas and Thanksgiving meals anonymously to less fortunate organizational groups. He poured love into his community and would drop everything to be there for the ones he loved. He shared true connection, he was a giver, and one who loved with his whole heart. To know him is to love him.

The world as we know it has lost an exemplary man, he will be greatly missed. May he live on forever in our hearts and memories. "May the force be with you Thomas Crawley, AKA Love of My Life."
