Thomas Sheldon Catron hung up his hat for the last time on July 13, 2015. Tom was a man who wore many hats! He was the son of Margaret and Sheldon Catron, the brother of Charlie and Bobby (deceased) and sister, Ruth Johnson. He began his journey in 1943 in Sheridan, WY. He spent most of his adult life in Denver, CO and Albuquerque, NM. In Albuquerque he met his wife Roberta Salas Catron, whom he shared 25 wonderful years. His love for nature has been passed on to his only child, Courtney Catron. His love for building and creating "projects" has been passed on to his son-in-law, Joel Pliskin. His gift for lighting up a room and mischievous personality has been passed on to his grandson, Jackson Sheldon Pliskin. We know you are fishing & skiing at Lake Desmet and telling all kinds of tales to our loved ones you recently joined. To a man who wore many hats, you will be missed. We are very thankful to the staff at the VA who took care of "abby normal" for the last few years. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Disabled Veterans, dav.org or Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org/donate. Services will be on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - University.
