Thomas Robert Boomershine

Thomas R. Boomershine, 75, (known as "Bobby" to his family) went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2021. He was born in Troy, OH on August 3,1945. He was the son of Miriam Detrick Boomershine and brother of Phyllis Sanborn, who both passed before him. He was a faithful husband to his wife for 48 years, and was a man of character and kindness. He loved his family, his country, coffee, books, fast cars and NASCAR racing. He overcame the adversity of being raised in a fatherless home, and had a successful Air Force career. He leaves behind his wife, Diane; sister Janet Mauney; nieces Jenn Mauney and Sandy Williams; nephews Paul Carroll, and Jeffrey, Joseph, and James Kowaleski; and many cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the American Lung Association. If you smoke, please make the decision for yourself and your family to get help to quit the habit.
