Theresa Martha Saiz

Theresa Martha Saiz, age 91, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, August 23, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Emiliano Saiz; and all her children, Jude Lorraine Rudder, Dr. Michael Saiz, Dr. Martin Raymond Saiz, Daniel Saiz, Mark Saiz, John Saiz, and Joseph Saiz. She is also survived by all 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Theresa was born in Santa Fe and was one of six children, including Lucilla Garcia (deceased), Father Miguel Baca (deceased), Josina Garcia (deceased), Dr. Leonard Bacon, and Dr. Orlando Baca. She often spoke of her fond memories of growing up in Santa Fe.

Theresa lived her life as a religious calling, striving for perfection in her vocation as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and member of the local community. She created lasting memories and traditions for her large family and volunteered at church for over 50 years.
