LIBERATORE, THERESATheresa Liberatore (nee D'Ambrosio) passed into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ, on January 1, 2013. Theresa was born on November 5, 1925 in Italy and arrived in Jersey City, NJ in 1929. She met John while living in the Bronx, NY and they were married August 18, 1946. She spent most of her career as a ward secretary/clerk for the Kingsbridge V.A. Hospital in the Bronx. Terry and John retired to live in Albuquerque in 1986 to enjoy the mountains and sunshine and Terry had the time to finally earn her first driver's license. She was a wonderful cook of all Italian foods and loved to host Sunday and holiday gatherings of family and friends where everyone raved about her eggplant parmigiana, meatballs, and numerous pasta dishes. Terry also enjoyed baking, crocheting and cross-stitching, card games and solving puzzles in her spare time. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Carmela, and her brother Joe D'Ambrosio of Tulsa, OK. She is survived by her sisters, Madeline Meaney of Casa Grande, AZ and Concetta Conti of Albuquerque; her three children, Art (Nancy) of Albuquerque, Linda DeSimone (John) of Fairfax, VA and John Jr. (Sharon) of Rio Rancho. Also, Theresa leaves behind seven grandchildren (Rachel, Risha, Jennifer, Christopher, Laura, Katie and Sarah) and three great-grandsons (Elijah, John Anthony and Sebastian) who all loved and adored her.
