Theresa Faifer Everett

Theresa Faifer Everett passed away on January 31, 2014. She was born on May 2, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. Theresa moved to Albuquerque when she was 15 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Jean Faifer. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Laura; grandson, Zachary; brothers, Tom and wife Barbara, Jerry and wife Karen; sister, Amy and boyfriend Danny; several nieces and nephews; and John Everett. Theresa graduated from Del Norte High School in 1973. She worked as a bookkeeper, and for the last 13 years worked as the parish/school bookkeeper at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She also served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and Lector at the church. Theresa loved the Lord and helped out with various church activities. She also volunteered with community theatre for several years. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan. After courageously battling cancer for two years, she went to be with the Lord. The Mass of the Resurrection will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, 811 Guaymas Pl. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. The celebrant will be Fr. Edward C. Domme. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. immediately before the Mass. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be sent to Our Lady of Assumption Parish.
