Theodore Lewis Wozniak Jr.

On Friday, July 15, 2022, Theodore (Ted) Wozniak, Jr. died due to illness at the age of 75 in Albuquerque, NM, with his children by his side.

Ted was born on September 6, 1946, in Berwick, PA, to Theodore Wozniak, Sr. and Charlotte (Chamberlain) O'Brecht. He had two children, Chad Wozniak (Cheryl White), of Chesterfield, NJ, and Sarah Wozniak (Wayne Witzel), of Albuquerque, NM, and three granddaughters: Laurel, Kyra, and Annya.

Ted wore many hats during his lifetime including, but not limited to, a member of the United States Navy, a Data Processing Specialist at Geisinger Medical Center, an Owner/Operator of Hilltop Fabric Shop, and sales positions with several computer and IT companies.

Ted was an avid outdoorsman. If you spent any amount of time with him, he probably tried to get you involved in one of his many hiking, kayaking, or fishing adventures. He was a lifelong Penn State football fan. He enjoyed learning about the ways of the former Native American inhabitants of the region, going so far as to read first-person accounts of early missionaries to the area. Ted was also an audiophile who enjoyed music appreciation and tinkering with his stereo equipment.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents (noted above) and two sisters: Charlyne (O'Brecht) Eichner and Michele (Wozniak) Musselman, both of Bloomsburg.

A casual celebration of Ted's life and luncheon will be held on Sunday, November 20, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. at Ponduce Farms (270 White Church Rd., Elysburg, PA). In lieu of gifts or flowers, Sarah and Chad would love to hear some of the good Ted stories you may have!
