Teresita Jackson

Teresita Jackson, age 69, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 after a long illness. She is survived by her son, Jerid Jackson; two sisters; and many friends. She was born in 1946 in Puerto Rico and moved to Albuquerque at the age of twenty two. Teresita worked for APS as a Spanish Teacher at Highland High School. She loved to camp and fish. Her dog, "girl" was very special to her. Teresita was a beloved mother, sister and friend and wll be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Teresita's name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
