Teresa Ann De La O-Herrera

Teresa De La O-Herrera 71, beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, auntie, and niece, of Albuquerque, NM, went home to be with Our Lord on Sunday August 11th,2024. She is preceded in death by husband, Phillip Herrera; mother and father, Teresa and Arthur De La O; brother, Mike De La O; and grandson, Chris Otero Jr; as well as many aunts and uncles. 

Teresa was a beautiful, caring, loving, and funny mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She is survived by her two sons, Chris Otero and Carlos Abeyta; daughter, Jessica Abeyta; daughter-in-law, Amber Otero; two grandsons Matthew Anaya and Dayton Anaya; brother, Arthur De La O, and wife, Zayda De La O; sister, Veronica Chavez and husband, Mike Chavez, and sister-in-law, Anna De La O; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Teresa graduated from Albuquerque High School. She worked for Research & Polling for many years. Teresa had a fun, adventurous life from being pregnant at Woodstock, to hitchhiking with friends across the states with many more adventures along the way. She loved watching all her shows which started with All My Children, SNL, Family Feud, to Judge Judy and Price Is Right. Teresa loved to fish with her dad, mom, brothers and children. Teresa loved the casino, cooking, and being at home with family. Teresa will truly be missed. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 4 p.m., at FRENCH- Lomas, followed by a Reception.
