Terence Nelson

Terrence L Nelson (Terry) entered heaven to be with our Lord on November 11, 2023. He was born March 3, 1949 to parents, Arthur Lee and Elizabeth Nelson in Atlanta, Georgia, where he resided until the age of 30.

He left behind his dedicated and loving wife of 42 years, Linda Diane; his son, Ryan Galey and wife Diana and precious granddaughter Jenna; his daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Galey and her fiancé, Greg Lehman. His son Reid Galey passed in 2010.

Terry also left his loving brother, Don L Nelson; sister-in-law, Phyllis and nephew, Arthur; his sister, Lee Weeks and her daughters, Jennifer and Ashley, all residing in Georgia.

Having graduated from the University of Georgia with Bachelors degrees in environmental health and later a Masters degree in water management, he worked in many capacities, regulating environmental and solid waste issues in the state of New Mexico.
 
Terry actively participated in the Kairos Prison Ministry for the last 25 years; his devotion to spreading the Gospel was his privilege and joy.
 
Terry was most concerned that he had accomplishments that pleased the Lord and not his occupations, merits, and awards. His memory will be cherished by many and all are thankful for the impact of his life.
