Ted Swisher

Ted Swisher, 72, our beloved husband, father and brother passed away on July 8, 2021.
He entered this world on June 6, 1949 in Buffalo, NY, born to Jack and Shirley Swisher. He is survived by his wife Betsy Groves; daughter Miriam Swisher; son Benjamin Swisher; sister Jan (David) Frame; brother Jack (Georgette) Swisher; mother Shirley Swisher. Ted was involved in the beginnings of Habitat for Humanity in Americus, Georgia. Ted moved with his family to Sydney, Australia and established Habitat for Humanity Australia. Later he served as Vice President of Habitat International. Ted finished his career as Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Santa Fe in 2020. Ted enjoyed hiking, camping, fly fishing and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ted dedicated his life to serving the affordable housing for all non-profit community.
