Ted Baker

Ted R. Baker, a Korean War Veteran and former resident of Greenville, Ohio, passed on April 28, 2022.

He was born on May 14, 1931, in Darke County, Ohio, and graduated from Greenville High School in 1949. Ted was a member of the Treaty City Motorcycle Club as a youth, and a life-time member of the American Motorcycle Association.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elmira Wright Baker; a son, Flynn Baker; his brother, Jack Baker and sister, June Baker Hutchinson. Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Vera Dickey Baker; daughter, Christine Baker Acklen; sister-in-law, Norma Lutz Baker and nieces and nephews. For the last 20 years, Ted and Vera have been living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, near their daughter, Christine.

Following his direction, Ted will be cremated and a memorial service for family members will be held at a later date.
