Tara Fletcher

d. June 23, 2016

Tara Fletcher, 58, the love-of-my-life, passed away June 23, 2016.
Tara worked for many years as an RN at Lovelace Medical Center, from 1981 to 1997, when her loving husband dragged her away from New Mexico for work. She continued nursing at locations in Hastings, MN, Austin, TX, and San Diego, CA, before returning to the Land of Enchantment in 2010. She continued nursing at UNMH until her passing. She touched so many through her nursing and devotion to yoga that her spirit of giving and loving, lives on in all she touched. We climbed mountains together, reaching the summit of ten of the Colorado fourteeners, the highest points in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, even Oklahoma, and Iowa. Love-of-my-life, I'll catch up with you on the trail.
Tara is survived by her loving husband, Bryan Johnson of Albuquerque, NM; her brother, Ralph Fletcher of Suffield, CT, his wife, Tori, niece, Meghan and nephew, Jason; her brother, Bryce Fletcher of Contoocook, NH, his wife Mary, nieces, Jessilyn and Christine and nephew, Danny; father and mother-in-law, Maynard and Audrey Johnson of Fairmont, MN; brother-in-law, Terry Johnson of West Des Moines, IA, nephews, Peter Johnson, wife, Megan, grand-nephews, Mica, Joah, and Tommy Johnson; sister-in-law, Lynette (Joy) Johnson of Bozeman, MT, nieces, Hannah and Estelle; along with numerous cousins in New Hampshire, New York, Arizona, and Delaware.
Preceding her passing were her parents, William (Bill) Fletcher and Jacquelyn Fletcher, late of Salisbury, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tara's name to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org/donate or The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, lustgarten.org.
