On November 10, 2017 at 5:29 p.m., our beloved sister, Sylvia Antonia Lucero, peacefully passed into the arms of our Lord. She was 74 years old. She was the precious third child of six born to Lumina and Richard Lucero. She leaves behind sisters, Dora Knee-Brandt, Rita Lucero; brother, Joe (Joyce) Lucero; nieces and nephews, Dan Knee, Sandra Novak, Denice Lucero, Deborah Macias, John Lucero, Jacob Lucero, Monica Carmignani and Stephanie Mills. A sister, Linda Martinez and brother, Dick Lucero predeceased her.
Throughout her life, Sylvia brought us joy and laughter. Her colorful language and antics brought chuckles from those around her. For 36 years, she was loved and cared for by such wonderful caregivers and nurses at the ARCA-South Valley Group Home. Her family at Centro Familiar surrounded her with so much love and care and made her life so comfortable and fun, words can never express the total gratitude we have for them. (We shall never forget each one of you.)
