Sylvia touched the lives of many and inspired us all. Through her warm smile and humble nature, she easily made lifelong friends at work, through her involvement in Mile High Little League and through her numerous volunteer efforts. After retiring from McKinley Middle School as Secretary to the Principal, Sylvia continued her volunteer work at Anna Kaseman Hospital where she brought joy and comfort to many. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Emile T. Briggs; her parents, Edwin and Mary Sirois; brother, Maynard; and sisters, Gretchen and Lucille. She is survived by "her 3 boys" Tom and wife Diane, Tim and Peggy, Jim and wife Amanda; and six grandchildren Amanda, Alicia, Alexis, Ashley, Shane and Wyatt.
