Sylvester Rose-Williams

Sylvester Rose Williams, age 68, of Albuquerque, NM passed peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2019. Sylvester was born on Friday, July 21, 1950 in Johnstown PA, he later moved to Vallejo, CA and settled in Albuquerque, NM in 1998. He is survived by his husband/partner, of 40 years, Maurice Williams. They were married on October 1, 2004 in Vancouver Canada, and in Albuquerque, NM on September 11, 2014. He also leaves behind four brothers; four sisters; nieces, nephews, his in-laws and many loved ones. Sylvester was preceded in death by parents, Sylvester and Kathleen Rose. In 1968, he proudly served our country in the United States Marines and received an honorable discharge. Sylvester worked in the workers’ compensation industry for 40 years, where he was well respected and loved within the community. Sylvester loved his family, friends, work, traveling, and living life to the fullest. His perseverance in life and strength in the face of various challenges, was an inspiration to many. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
