Susan (Susie) Hanrahan

November 16, 1951 — January 20, 2021

Susie Hanrahan was born November 16, 1951, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Onofre and Maria Stevens. She lived in New Mexico all of her life, and passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at the age of 69.

She is survived by her father, Onofre; her brother, Mark; her daughters, Kristen and Sarah; as well as her grandchildren, Ezra, Jackson, and Addlyn.

Susie was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and a loving grandmother. She had two children with her late husband, Daniel Hanrahan. She had three brothers, Mark, Randy, and Richard.

She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. From there she found her career working in Human Resources for the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in defense at Kirtland Airforce Base.

In her later years, she spent most of her time helping take care of others such as her grandchildren and her father. She was an avid dog lover, cook, and gardener. She loved R & B music and loved dancing. She was very easy going. She endured a lot in her life and developed a great appreciation for living life in the present. Susie was a practicing Catholic all of her life. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Services will be held for immediate family only. Thank you for the many condolences, flowers, cards, and food kindly given by those we love. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
