Susan Burns-Sanchez

Dr. Susan Burns-Sanchez, 60, dedicated wife and exceptional Dentist, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Susan was known for her ability to help others through her practice of dentistry, her academic achievements in high school where she was 5th in her class, and later when she received her doctorate from Case Western, the immediate connection with any animal that crossed her path, the great care she took of her 22 dogs and 23 horses, and her success as a competitive equestrian rider.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Sanchez; mother, Mary Jane Gorton; mother-in-law, Sally Sanchez; and niece, Monica Sanchez. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Piper Doddle and Idris, and her adored horse Ricky. She also leaves behind many cherished cousins, friends, nieces, nephews, and patients. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Gorton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 12 2024 at 11:00 am at FRENCH- Lomas. Burial will directly proceed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Following the Burial, we welcome family and friends to join in a Reception where we can offer each other support and comfort.
