Sue Ann Scott, born July 28, 1924 went to be with our Lord and join her husband Lloyd, on August 3, 2015. She had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1957. She is survived by her 7 children, Betty Parker and husband Paul, Tom Scott and wife Sam, Robert Scott, Mary Olmi and husband Tony, Linda Franchini and husband Tom, Helen Franchini and husband Keith, and Janet Nadonly. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. Beginning with the eldest they are: Aaron Scott wife Courtney and children, Killian, Regan, Weylin, and Chyann; Adrienne "Scott" Grunau, husband John and children, Wesley, Darcy, and Wilson; Michael Olmi wife Tiffany and daughter Greer; Jason Parker wife Danielle and children Sofia and Charlie; Joe Olmi; Natalie "Franchini" Harden husband Ryan and children Taylor, Faith and Micah; Tom Franchini wife Suzanne and children Lily and Max; Kyle Franchini wife Laura and daughter Peyton; Christina Olmi; Ashley "Franchini" Head husband Casey and twin sons Brayden and Jace; Zachary Franchini; Ryan Nadonly; Alexandra Olmi, all who affectionately called her Grandma Susie. She also leaves behind her sister, Rosie Bearden, and dear friend Tommie Gray, as well as many other family members, friends and neighbors. Sue was one of four children born and raised in Waldo Arkansas. She and her siblings were taken care of by a young woman Lena, who became part of the family. When Sue was a young woman she was said to be adventurous. In middle school and high school she played basketball and was involved in different church youth groups. After acquiring a degree in accounting she married the love of her life, Lloyd Scott. She stayed by her husband's side, moving 32 times for their business, Scott Drilling Company, before settling in Albuquerque. For many years Sue was a bookkeeper for the company, but her true pride and passion was her family. As a friend and mentor to many, phone calls stretched across the miles and her door was always open. Even after many years in New Mexico she maintained her sweet southern draw. One of Sue's many passions included cooking, one family favorite being fried chicken every Sunday. Another special meal was Lena's cornbread and black-eyed peas. She was famous for her rum cakes, baked with love and shared with neighbors, friends and family members on every occasion. When alone she enjoyed a card game of Solitaire, however she was always ready to challenge any takers to a game of Spite and Malice. At the drop of a hat she would take off to her favorite destination, her cabin in Eagle Nest, New Mexico. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Road N.E.
