Stewart Anthony Sporleder, age 67, a resident of Albuquerque for over 40 years, died Friday, December 4, 2015. He is survived by his mother, Esther Sporleder; daughter, Leslie Sporleder; daughter, Siera Sporleder and her two sons, Jay Anthony Baca and Jerry Dean Sporleder Baca; and special friends, Kim Kennedy and Terry Carillo and many many other friends and relatives. Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Sporleder; his wife, Victoria Pobst; and one infant son. He was born in 1948 in California and moved to Albuquerque in 1963 where he attended Manzano High School. Stewart worked ten years at Air Freight and also enjoyed working on motorcycles as a mechanic. He was a short wave radio enthusiast and enjoyed wrestling. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, 11:00a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stewart's name to a homeless shelter or food bank of your choice.
