Steven Eric Sorenson

Albuquerque

Steven Eric Sorenson passed away on January 30, 2024. He was 80 years old. He is survived by his wife, Enid; 6 children; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and his sister, Patsy.

He graduated from Rice University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked at the architectural and engineering firm of Molzen and Corben for more than 20 years. He also served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. HE was an avid bridge player and played duplicate bridge at the Duke City Bridge Center and sometimes online. He enjoyed engaging in the online type of role playing games. He also enjoyed working with children in the tutoring program at the Unitarian Church. He was kind, loving, and never met a stranger. Celebration of Life services will be held on February 24th at 11am at First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle NE, in the sanctuary. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Heifer International or the charity of your choice.
