Steven Plante

Steven Plante, age 74, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on October 14, 2023, due to natural causes, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories. 

Steve had a deep passion for baseball and spent countless hours both as a remarkable ballplayer, and as a devoted Red Sox fan.  Steve also had a strong affinity for the outdoors.  He shared his love of hunting and fishing with family and friends, often in the role of teacher.  He made lasting memories ice fishing with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends on frozen lakes from his hometown in New Hampshire to his retirement home in Colorado.

With a career spanning 40 years in the banking industry, he leaves behind a multitude of close colleagues and friends. 

Steve is survived by his 3 children and 3 beloved grandchildren.  Steve also had an unwavering love for beagles and leaves behind his dear beagle Jake.  His friends and family will remember him for his quick wit and his love of sharing stories and laughter with friends over a drink.  Steve will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. 

A memorial service honoring and remembering Steve's life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 17, 2023, at French Funerals, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
