Stephen Maresca

Our very beloved Stephen Maresca passed away on April 2, 2015. He was with the love of his life and his missing piece Heather, next to the ocean in a place they loved. Steve always said Heather was prayers answered. Steve was born in El Paso, TX on April 6, 1961 to Mary and the late Joe Maresca. He is survived by his wife Heather and their children Anthony, Caleb and Miranda. His family members include Chuck, Anna, Susan, Rob, Sydney, Sarah, Kelsey, Taylor, Connor, Braydon, Christian and Austin. Steve was a lifelong teacher and touched lives everywhere he went. Steve loved life and greeted every day with energy, enthusiasm and joy. Please join us in celebrating Steve's life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at La Cueva High School Performing Arts Center, 7801 Wilshire Ave NE, Albuquerque (use main entrance on Wilshire). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. before the service. Steve was the rock for many people and always said, "Helping people is my love language." We love him very much and will always miss him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Stephen Maresca Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank location.
