Stephen Rufus Garcia

Stephen R. Garcia, 93, beloved husband and father was called to his eternal resting place on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He entered this world on Wednesday, February 29, 1928 in Belen, NM, born to Desiderio and Sylvestra (Torres) Garcia. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Donna (McKain) Garcia; his children, Stephen D. Garcia, Raymond A. (Rosie) Garcia, Deborah (Albert) Garcia-Sanchez, Don L. Garcia, and Kathy (Dave) Garcia-Wilson; grandchildren, Ian, Matthew, Meghan, Miles, and Jacob; and many great-grandchildren.

In Celebration of Stephen's life a Rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, 9:30 a.m. followed my a Mass at 10:00 a.m., at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter St. NE. Followed by a private family interment at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
