Stephen G. Banos
May 23, 1954 — April 29, 2017
Stephen G. Banos passed away peacefully, at his home, on April 29, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Gay Banos; his son, Stephen George Banos Jr.; his mother, Connie Banos; two sisters, Catherine Vincent and Patricia Cruz; and three step-children, Andy, Annette, and Alicia. He is preceded in death by his father, George Banos.
Stephen was born on May 23, 1954, in Albuquerque. He attended Highland High School and Western University. He owned and operated his own Dairy Queen for many years and later worked in restaurant management and served his community as an open space ranger for the City of Albuquerque. Stephen will be remembered for his big heart, his friendly manner, and the love of his family.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 11, 2017, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Annunciation Parish, 2621 Vermont NE. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to your local Salvation Army.
