STEPHANIE U. TORRESAge 87, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, September 3, 2012. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Torres was an amazing woman and her presence will be sorely missed. She is survived by her children, Marie D. Sanchez (Joe), Henry D. Torres, Jake Torres (Dolores R.) , David Torres (Silvia) of Phoenix, AZ, Jean M. Torres-Montoya (Dennis W.) of Rio Rancho, and Robert J. Torres (Vicky); Grandchildren Dave Mark Torres (Tricia), Alesia Torres-Arjona (Joey), Monica Montano, Andrew Montano, Stephanie Montoya and Katherine Montoya; great-grandchildren Eric M. Torres, Alexander D. Torres, Elizabeth R. Torres; sister Annie Gabaldon; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Torres was preceded in death by her husband David, son Leonard Torres, 3 brothers and one sister. Mrs. Torres was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary, and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. Rosary will be recited Friday, September 7, 2012, 7:00 pm at French - Wyoming Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 8, 2012, 10:00 am at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday beginning at 6:00 p.m.
