Stella Pricilla Alires

Stella Pricilla Alires went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2015. Stella, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, was born in Tererro, New Mexico on May 31, 1931, to Bernadino and Josefita Martinez. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arthur; her daughters, Deborah Montoya and husband, Roland; Christina Schlehuser and husband, Glen; Laura Lovato; Mary Brown and husband, Frank, Marilyn Marsh and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Melissa, Anita, Arturo, David John, Felicia, Sidney, and Risa; and five great grandchildren; brother, Fernando Martinez and wife, Liz; sister, Cecilia Cortes and husband, Ferddie, sister, Lenora Maestas; brother-in-law, Jimmy Salazar; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Stella is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lucy Salazar; brother-in-law, Robert Salazar; sister, Dolores Salazar; nephews, Michael and Bobbie Salazar. Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Sangre de Cristo Church, 8901 Candelaria NE, Albuquerque. Rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Reception will follow at the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Little Brothers of the Good Shepard at .
