Stacy Mark Olsen

Stacy Mark Olsen, 58, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother was called to his eternal resting place on Monday, September 23, 2019 after battling with cancer. He entered this world on Thursday, October 13, 1960 in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was born to Lee and Mary Olsen. He was the 6th of seven boys.

Stacy retired from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office on January 1, 2011. He spent his retirement days caring for his mother, playing slots, traveling and working at his leisure. He recently became a great-grandfather to Aria Faye Lugo. Stacy was the proud grandfather of four, Anissa (Cruz), Kamila, Emiliano and Fabrizio - whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his spouse, Lyndon Bowman; his two children, Luciana and Jacob; four brothers, Stewart and Coral, Sterling, Stanton and Martha, and Stanley.

Stacy was preceded in death by his parents and by his brothers, Stafford and Steven. For all those who loved Stacy, we thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Stacy never liked being the center of attention, although there will be a viewing on Monday, September 30, 2019. From 5 – 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH-University. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, 1:00 pm. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.
