SSG CHRISTOPHER K. KELSO, (USA) RET, Age 60, a resident of Albuquerque since 1987, died Monday, February 9, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Anne; mother and father- in- law, Don and Virginia Fisher; sisters-in-law, Lynn Fisher and Ellen Fisher; his two devoted dogs, Hansel and Gretel; and numerous other relatives and friends. Chris was born in 1954 in Wichita, KS and graduated from high school in Mulvane, KS, Class of 1973. Following graduation, Chris volunteered for the United States Army, serving at posts in Germany and the United States. He was a proud career soldier and after his retirement moved to Albuquerque, NM. Chris loved the Army and military history, reading, classic rock-n-roll music, and German chocolate cake. He was a loving husband; son-in-law; and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be Friday, February 13, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 6901 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Private interment will take place at Vista Verde Cemetery in Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chris's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or the Alzheimers Association, 9500 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite 121, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
