Sophia L. (Martinez) Marshall

Sophia Marshall, 46, beloved Wife and Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, January 28, 2019. She entered this world on April 20, 1972 in Los Alamos, NM, born to Jose Horacio and Cordelia Martinez. She is survived by her husband, Richard Marshall; son, Richard Marshall II. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Horacio Martinez; mother, Cordelia Martinez; oldest brother, Horacio (Al) Martinez. She is survived by her brothers, Tony Martinez, Herman Martinez, Jose Martinez, Jonny Martinez, Fidel Martinez, Alfred Martinez  and sisters, Margret Blea, Diana Cordova, Linette Martinez and Victoria Pena. She is also survived by Dick and Sue Marshall; mother and father-in-law; and brother- in-laws, Pete and Paul Marshall. She had numerous nieces and nephews, from both families. in death by Sophia served in the Navy from 1990 - 1993. She was currently employed as a Contracting Officer at the Department of Defense, United States Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque NM. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH – University. The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Outreach in Rio Rancho NM 2900 Southern Blvd SE. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
