Sidney Leroy Counts

Sidney Leroy Counts, Sr., age 43, the heart and soul of his family, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. Sid was known for his ferocious and undying love for his family. No one could spend any amount of time in his presence without being able to feel that love. He would go out of his way to help anyone and he never met a stranger. He was so easy to love that most people did love him. He spent all his time, when he wasn’t providing for his family, with them showing them they were his priority. Our family couldn’t have asked for a better man to be in our lives. He will be greatly missed until we are together again forever. He is survived by his wife, Olivia Counts, and their four amazing children, Sidney Counts, Jr., Shaylee Counts, Shayne Counts and Shyanne Counts. He is also survived by his parents, David Counts and his wife, Sian Counts, and his mother, Elva Counts; his brothers, David Counts, Jr. and Zachary Counts; and sister, Sammie Gatewood and Emily Counts. Services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, 4:00 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Edgewood, NM.
