Sibyle Subiono

Sibyle Subiono, 76, beloved mother, entered eternal life on April 8, 2021.

She was born on March 19, 1945 in Decorah, Iowa, born to Arthur Lewis and LaDeane Kezele. Sibyle had lived in many places throughout her life as a military wife but has called New Mexico her home for the past 45 years. Sibyle had many jobs throughout her lifetime; she retired from The City of Albuquerque as a Telecommunications Operator for the airport, however her favorite city job was working with senior citizens.

Sibyle also loved most animals and was always ready to help a pet in need. Sibyle had mostly dogs, but when she met her trusted and loving partner, Russell Atkinson, she invited 3 cockatiels into her home named Homey, Harry, and William (aka The Royals). Sibyle was also an amazing cook and loved to entertain whenever possible. In her spare time she loved playing Bingo with Russell. Sibyle was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, companion, and friend.

She is survived by her companion, Russell Atkinson; children, Scott Subiono of California, Andrew Subiono and Dina Subiono of Connecticut, April Subiono of Albuquerque, and Shannon Spangler of Arizona; her six grandchildren who were the light of her life, Mathew, Sydney, Kelsey, Lilimarie, Jared and Nicholas; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Jasper and Jacqueline. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Everette Steele.
