Sibyl Hendrix, our beloved mother who was almost 90 years old was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on October 2, 2015. Sibyl was born in Arnett, Oklahoma, to Orvie and Eunice McCulloch. She is survived by her children, Janie Gragg and husband, Rob, Linda Fern Fay and husband, Don, Edith Hendrix and Ralph Cray Hendrix and wife, Renee; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Dowler; brother, Robert McCulloch; and many other family and friends. Mrs. Hendrix was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Ralph and her parents. Sibyl was a Real Estate Broker for over 40 years, was active in the Womens Council of Realtors and held numerous state and national offices. In 2000 she was the recipient of the C.O. Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Sibyl and Ralph were longtime active members of First United Methodist Church and the Twosom Sunday School Class. A Memorial Service will be Friday, October 23, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Private burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the music ministry at First United Methodist Church or Operation Christmas Child, c/o Samaritans Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC, 28607. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Twosom Sunday School Class Members.
