Shirley E. Starr

Shirley Starr, 91, a dedicated sister and aunt, passed away May 22, 2015, in Livermore, CA. Shirley was a graduate of the Palmer Chiropractic School. She and her husband, Anthony, moved to Albuquerque where she was a longtime, loyal employee of Walgreens. She loved her cats and dogs and always had at least one pet. She was dedicated to the care of her mother and brother, Morris. She was devoted to her sister, Margaret, who passed away eight days after Shirley on May 30, 2015. Shirley is survived by nieces and nephews and their spouses, Clint Baker of Chaparral, NM, Burlyne and Steve Wilson of Livermore, CA, and Vernon and Victoria Baker of Albuquerque, NM; great nieces and nephews, Bonnie Baker, Michael and Lindsey Baker, Cindy and Jeremy Londeore, Vicky and Mike Ringleb, Jeremy and Eden Baker, Christopher Baker, and Vanessa and Levi McKay; great-great nieces and nephews, Joshua, Jayden, Reese, Aiden, Ayla, Alana, Jaycee and Elyn. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Eli T. (Anthony) Starr; half-brothers and half-sisters, Ansel Moss, Bye Moss, Albert Moss, Duluth Moss, Laura Moss, and Becky Winn; full brothers, Clinton Moss and Morris Moss. A visitation will be held on June 11, 2015, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University, 1111 University Blvd. NE A funeral for both Shirley and Margaret will be held Friday, June 12, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 201 University Blvd. NE. Reception at the church following the service. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
