Shirley Roberts was called Home on January 22, 2016 to be with her late husband, William "Bill" Roberts. Born and raised in Michigan, Shirley was a Los Lunas resident for over 15 years and taught oil painting classes at Leftovers, etc.
Shirley leaves a legacy of many loving family members. She was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart and life-long love, Bill; and son, Russell Roberts. She is survived by her children, Cindy Peters and husband, Donald; Michael Roberts and wife, Frieda; Steven Roberts; Gregory Roberts and wife, Penny; Rhonda Ramirez and husband, Angel; Judy Chamberlain and husband, Christopher; sisters, Bonnie Bayes and Beverly Hopkins; 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, and many good friends and art students.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Los Lunas, 914 Los Lentes Rd. SE, Los Lunas, NM.
