84 years young, Shirley was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She passed away on the 14th of October 2021. She is survived by her spouse, Charles LeRoy Sparks of Rio Rancho; son Randy Sparks of Albuquerque; daughter Stephanie Vickers and spouse Kevin Vickers of Ft. Worth, Tx; five grandchildren, Neil, Caleigh, Melanie, Emily, and Kelly; five great grandchildren, Preston, Eva, Nylah, Benjamin, and Abigail; twin brothers, Ronnie Griffin and spouse Kay Griffin of Salmon, Id, and Donnie Griffin of Hamilton, Mt.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Edna Griffin.

Shirley had a strong love for her family. She was a truly giving person, always putting others needs before her own, whether it be her family or someone in need. She had a passion for growing flowers and plants. Her hobbies included traveling, genealogy, reading, flower arranging and crafts. She retired from the Department of Energy. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her.
