Shirley Alley

Shirley Alley, 84, beloved Mother, was called to her Heavenly Father on November 10, 2017. She entered this world on July 29, 1933 in Gem, KS, born to Floyd and Edythe Gunderson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Edythe; husband, Wayne; son, Pete; and granddaughter, Sara Carr. She is survived by her children, Linda and husband, Jim Sutton, Sharon and husband, Ed Tannehill, Tamara and husband, Rick Hagreen, Laura Alley, Crystal Alley, and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Alley; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Shirley dedicated her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family and precious friends. She enjoyed the last year of her life at Casa De Rosa Assisted Living which she loved and made many new friends spending her days around the round table. Shirley loved to read and sing but her true passion was dancing. I know she is dancing in the sky and singing in the angel’s choir. Shirley was a very selfless person putting others before herself. She led a very loving life and smiled all the time. She will be missed deeply.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH – University.
