Shelly Ann Green

Shelly Green, age 64, died on Saturday, September 18, 2021, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

She grew up in Albuquerque graduating from Sandia High School, getting her undergraduate degree for UNM, and her masters from Wesley College.

She was passionate about public education and worked with Albuquerque Public Schools for 40 years. She was high school teacher, assistant principle, principal, executive director, and chief academic officer.

She loved all animals, especially dogs of all breeds. She was particularly fond of Schipperke dogs and had many over the years.

In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to a local animal rescue.

An informal Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
