Shaun Neil Hanks

Shaun Neil Hanks, age 34, of Hobbs, NM, tragically passed away on Saturday, August 16th. He was born in Hobbs, NM on November 30, 1979 to Susie Ann Hicks Manes who preceded him in death. He is survived by his two sons Joshua and Connor Hanks; his sister Brandi Manes; nieces and nephews, family, and countless friends. Shaun worked as a driller in the oil fields, a job that he loved and was proud of. He was also an avid Colts fan who loved watching and going to the games, however it was his two boys that were his pride and joy and his entire life. He loved to take them camping, fishing, to amusement parks, swimming, and loved to watch his sons play sports. Shaun was adored by his boys, loved by so many, and his absence will leave a void in the Albuquerque community. Services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 8600 Academy Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
