In 1986 David and Sharon relocated their family to Albuquerque, NM. Shortly after relocating to New Mexico, Sharon was involved in a serious accident that left her paralyzed from the chest down. Sharon's life was drastically changed after this event. Thereafter, she and David were inseparable and clung to each other and found strength in their relationship. Upon arriving in New Mexico, Sharon became active at Believers Center of Albuquerque. She served as a door greeter, home care network leader and lead numerous individuals in one on one bible studies. She was known for her generous spirit. Despite the circumstances she lived with, she was always ready with positive encouragement for others. She touched many people's lives. While Sharon may never have been a newsmaker, she was loved by many, and tremendously impacted others on a day to day basis. Her death was unexpected, but her life was rich, despite the outward circumstances. She struggled in life, but not in death. Sharon's life is marked by many who love her and those loved by her. Sharon lived fully. She loved butterflies. Later in life she learned to paint. She wrote poetry. She was always full of love and compassion. She exhibited the true love of Christ.
